Singer Katy Perry remains atop Billboard Hot 100 for a second week

Singer Katy Perry remains atop the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week with her historic fifth No. 1 “Last Friday Night.” The “Teenage Dream” singer set a record which Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson and even Madonna never have. From her first single, “California Gurls,” to her fifth, “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”, every song Perry has dropped from “Teenage Dream” has become a No. 1 hit, and she’s the only woman in the industry who can make that claim.

However, her latest No. 1 single has been banned in China for lyrics about streaking in the park. The song lyrics were said to be in “poor taste and too vulgar” so will be banned from 15th September, according to The Guardian, as China try to crack down on naughty tracks.
